Freelancers Inc. doing business under the name and style of Lakwatcha Magazine is
a duly registered corporation with company reg. no. CS201015761 and company TIN 007-
886-755. The Securities and Exchange Commission awarded its certificate of incorporation
on September 28, 2010.

The Corporation’s primary purpose is to publish magazines; to sell travel
merchandise is secondary.

Freelancers Inc. has a vision of publishing the country’s leading travel magazine
that will be the ultimate guide of travelers. Its mission is (1) to uphold appreciation for the
country, (2) to foster cultural enrichment since various cultural factors may attract
lakwatcheros to different destinations, (3) to infect readers with joie de vivre that one may
get from roaming.


Lakwatcha Magazine, with ISSN 2094-8077, aims to promote Philippine tourism

in print and online. It builds on a makulit yet smart image that is marketed towards class B

and C especially the young, mobile urban professionals who love to or dream of going

places. This quarterly magazine is for budget travelers who live their lives to the fullest—

experiencing cultures, pushing their limits, and having wholesome fun.

The magazine will be
distributed in Metro Manila bookstores and selected branches in the provinces. Other
distribution points are salons, coffee shops, convenience stores, hotels, airports and call
center lounges. The Lakwatcha website, lakwatcha.com, contains travel-related news feed
and feature articles, as well as links to the most interesting bloggers, travelers, and
freelancers.
